Inspired by the changing of seasons, Gladiolus explores the movement of Winter into Spring and how this metaphorically corresponds to a journey from a place of death into a place of life or hope.

The 5 track EP reflects this journey starting with Her Lullaby, and the literal death of a friend's parent, to the vulnerability of being honest to someone you have feelings for and that signifying an end to your relationship with them in Wolf Cry; to issues surrounding police brutality, the concept of freedom and the relationship of disadvantaged groups to this in Roving. Ending with the concept of life, that being explored in the EP’s title track, Gladiolus, referring to the gladioli flower which symbolises strength of character.
